Accessibility Statement for the Airzone Cloud App

Corporación Empresarial Altra S.L.

1. Purpose

This accessibility statement has been prepared by Corporación Empresarial Altra S.L. and applies to the Airzone Cloud mobile app.

It has been prepared in accordance with Law 11/2023 of May 8, to the extent that the application enables the provision of consumer services falling within its scope, and also taking Royal Decree 193/2023 of March 21 as a supplementary reference.

As a technical reference for the evaluation and progressive improvement of accessibility, the criteria set forth in standard EN 301 549 and in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, have been considered, to the extent that they are applicable to the mobile environment and to the functionalities actually available in the application.

Corporación Empresarial Altra S.L. is committed to universal accessibility and to progressively implementing the necessary measures to ensure that users, including those with disabilities, can access and use the application on an equal footing, free from discrimination, and with autonomy and independence.

2. Current Accessibility Status

Following the review conducted, it is concluded that, as of the date of this statement, the Airzone Cloud application is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility criteria, which serve as the technical reference.

Criteria met: Features and elements of the application have been identified that already adequately meet certain accessibility requirements, particularly regarding the identification of the primary language, the absence of potentially harmful flashing, the consistency of certain navigation mechanisms, and the existence of certain measures that facilitate the understanding and use of the interface.

Criteria partially met: Areas for improvement have been identified that may limit the experience of certain users, particularly those who access the site using a keyboard, screen readers, or other assistive technologies.

Criteria not met: Deficiencies persist in assigning accessible names to buttons, links, selectors, and form elements, as well as in the proper use of accessibility roles and properties exposed to assistive technologies. Alternatives to graphical resources do not always provide equivalent information, and some interactive components do not offer functional alternatives for users with limited mobility. Additionally, the size of some interactive targets is less than 44×44 pixels, making them difficult to use on touch-enabled devices.

3. Content and functionalities that may not be fully accessible

As of the date of this statement, accessibility barriers may still exist regarding the following aspects. Furthermore, certain third-party content, components, or integrations may present accessibility limitations beyond the entity’s direct control, notwithstanding any follow-up and improvement actions that may be undertaken:

  • Insufficient contrast in text, buttons, and headings, especially in light mode.
  • Images, icons, and non-textual elements lack sufficient text alternatives or appropriate accessible names.
  • Form fields, buttons, and selectors lack accessible labels or clear programmatic names.
  • Navigation using assistive technologies is not fully operable in all workflows, with potential issues regarding focus order and identification of the active element.
  • Status messages and validations lack adequate accessibility features for assistive technologies.
  • Content structure and hierarchy of titles or headings are not always consistent, which can hinder comprehension and navigation.
  • Interactive elements with an area smaller than 44×44 pixels, making them difficult to use on touch devices.  Headings and adaptation of keyboard navigation. Additionally, the expansion of contextual help and the customization of the experience according to user needs are being considered.

4. Measures Taken and Improvement Plan

Corporación Empresarial Altra S.L. has initiated and maintains a process of continuous review and improvement of the accessibility of the Airzone Cloud application, which includes, among others, the following actions:
